5. Critical Issues Management

On most construction projects, the management team lets too many critical issues sit unresolved for too long. It is our approach that critical issues never sit unresolved for more than 7 days. This facilitates better team work by not letting unresolved issues build up and it also provides more effective management of the project. We typically review all critical issues with the general constructor on a weekly basis. We will have a critical issues log that we present to the owner on a monthly basis so that the owner is informed of any issues that may expose them to risk.
